THURSDAY, MARCH 27

Registration 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Concurrent Workshop Sessions: 7:00pm to 10:00pm
  • SCBA - 1 hour
  • PPE & PASS Device - 1 hour
  • Rescue Tools - 1 hour
  • Hose Handling, Ladders, Misc. - 1 hour
Each one-hour classes will be repeated three times, Thursday and Friday evenings.

The topics may serve as prerequisite training for some of the more advanced offerings throughout the Northeast Regional Fire School agenda. There are no prerequisites for any of the four Thursday and Friday evening workshop sessions.
 
FRIDAY, MARCH 28

Registration 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Flammable Gas Emergencies, Section #1 6:00pm to 10:00pm (Friday) and
8:00am to 5:00pm (Saturday)
Includes 12 total hours of training:
8 hours classroom plus 4 hours of live burn training.

Classroom Session 6:00pm to 10:00pm (Friday)
Classroom Session, Continued 8:00am to 12:00noon (Saturday)
LPG Live Burn Session #1 1:00pm to 5:00pm (Saturday)

Prerequisites: Proficiency with SCBA, PPE and Hose Handling. Live burn participants must complete and return a Live Fire Training Verification form to OFST before registration can be confirmed. Please fax completed form to OSU Fire Service Training at 405-744-7377.

Vehicle Extrication Basics, 16 hrs.
Prerequisites: None
8:00am to 5:00pm (Sat-Sun)
Advanced Vehicle Extrication, 16 hrs.
Prerequisites: “Vehicle Extrication Basics” 16-hr.
8:00am to 5:00pm (Sat-Sun)
Wildland Fundamentals, 16 hrs.
Prerequisites: None
8:00am to 5:00pm (Sat-Sun)
Pump Operations, 8 hrs.
Prerequisites: None
8:00am to 5:00pm

HAZMAT Awareness + Certification, 9hrs.
8-hour class, followed by 1-hour IFSAC exam
Prerequisites: None
8:00am to 5:00pm
HAZMAT Operations Refresher , 8 hrs.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of the 48-hour
Hazardous Materials Operational Level course
8:00am to 5:00pm
First Responder Refresher, 14 hrs.
Prerequisites: None
8:00am to 4:00pm (Sat & Sun)

SUNDAY, MARCH 30

Certification re-testing for all accredited levels is from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday, March 29.
This is for the written portions only. Pre-registration is required. Candidates should contact Tara Stevenson at 405-744-5727 to confirm testing times and location.

This training is provided to Oklahoma emergency responders free of charge, thanks to Oklahoma Fire Service Organizations and our State Legislators.
