National Fire Academy (NFA) Training Opportunities
NFA Announces Resident Class Openings as of August 10, 2007

Vacancies exist in the following NFA courses at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland. NFA further reports that there are some new pilot courses included among the vacancy list. Students who are accepted and attend a pilot are eligible for an additional stipend that fiscal year (before October 1). Pilot courses have the letter “P” as part of the code. The regular courses have an “R.”

Interested candidates may refer to the internet at www.usfa.dhs.gov/nfa for admission details. All vacancies are filled on a first come, first served basis, and qualified by using the Student Selection Criteria listed on the web site (above).
