Industrial Fire Fighting: Flammable Liquids and Gases

Scope/Overview:

Examines tactical considerations and their coordinated application in response to fires involving flammable liquids and gases. Classroom lecture, hands-on exercises and live burn scenario training focus on key team coordination concepts. The course is intense, disciplined and physically challenging. Fire fighter safety and proper use of PPE will be reinforced throughout the 16-hour course. Both public and private sector responders are welcomed to attend.

Prerequisite(s):

Participants are required to be physically capable of performing strenuous activities associated with fire service duties. A physical examination is recommended prior to training.
