8th Annual Wildland Roundup Draws Record Attendance
Almost 400 fire fighters from 90 communities gathered at the 8th Annual Wildland Roundup Course Feb 29 - March 3 at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. The course was sponsored by the Oklahoma Fire Service Training at Oklahoma State University (OFST).

Added Funding Drives New Outreach Training Initiatives
Oklahoma volunteer, rural and small combination fire departments across Oklahoma are now more likely to receive no-cost training at their locations by qualified instructors. A new outreach training initiative by Oklahoma Fire Service Training at Oklahoma State University (OFST) is underway thanks to an additional funding appropriation by the State legislature.
