OFST will administer local examinations for a reasonable number of candidates. Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to the anticipated test date. The candidate’s employer(s) shall ensure that each candidate has demonstrated proficiency in all available job performance requirements (JPRs) or performance objectives.


OFST Staff may conduct a site visit to determine if the site is suitable. Approved sites may not require subsequent review unless, in the opinion of OFST, the characteristics and/or facilities of the site have changed substantially.


If, in the opinion of OFST, the examination site is not conducive for conducting the exam on the specified date, and modification cannot be made in a reasonable period of time, the examination will be relocated, canceled, or postponed.


OFST reserves the right to allow any outside candidate(s) to attend a locally delivered examination.
