Scope/Overview:

This course addresses the exterior offensive fire attack strategy. Students will consider the advantages and limitiations of this strategy; the impact of exterior fire attacks on fire behavior; and ventilation methods and fire streams which are used with exterior offensive attacks; the course uses small group activities where students evaluate a fire scenario, determine if an exterior offensive fire attack is feasible, and then develop a strategy for making that attack.
