Structural Collapse Operations

Scope/Overview:

The training will consist of a 50 hour intensive lecture and hands on training course. This covers all the material you will need to properly perform an emergency rescue shoring operation. Course covers shoring operationg for light-frame & reinforced masonry, basic lifting techniques, as well as basic cutting techniques. Also Covered are construction features, collapse patterns, building collapse hazards, structure assessment and marking system, search operations, ICS, and rescue operations.

  • Rope Rescue Operations Part 1
  • Rope Rescue Operations Part 2
  • Confined Space Rescue Technician
  • Trench Rescue Operations
  • Vehicle Extrication Basics
  • CPR/BLS

  • NFPA 1006, 2008 edition NFPA 1670, 2009 edition

Student Equipment:
