Confined Space Rescue Refresher

Scope/Overview:

Practical rescue scenario training allows emergency response teams to demonstrate readiness, sharpen technical rescue skills, and comply with OSHA regulations that mandate annual refresher training. OSU-FST's program is designed to meet and exceed the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146(k)(2)(iv) requirement that calls for industrial rescue teams to practice making permit-required confined space rescues at least once every 12 months. Professional updates on PPE, rescue equipment and other relevant training issues are also a part of the refresher training.


Course Length:

8 to 16 hours, depending on training objectives
